dormakaba KTV M is a manually operated revolving door system designed to provide efficient pedestrian flow while maintaining excellent thermal separation, energy efficiency, and architectural aesthetics. Operated by manually pushing the door handles, the KTV M is ideal for office buildings, airports, hospitals, hotels, commercial developments, and public facilities where comfortable access and climate control are required. Available in 3- or 4-wing configurations, with glazed or metal-panel drum walls and optional night shield sliding doors, the system effectively reduces drafts, noise, dust, and heat loss while offering flexible design options. Manufactured in Sofia, Bulgaria, the revolving door combines glass, aluminium, steel, stainless steel, zinc, and engineered components to deliver long-term durability with a 20-year reference service life and approximately 2 million operating cycles.
The Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) is prepared in accordance with ISO 14025 and EN 15804+A2 and follows a cradle-to-gate with options life cycle assessment covering A1–A3, A4, A5, B6, C1–C4, and Module D. Independently verified by the Institut Bauen und Umwelt (IBU), the declaration evaluates environmental impacts across raw material extraction, manufacturing, transportation, installation, operational use, end-of-life processing, and recycling potential. The KTV M supports sustainable building projects through verified life-cycle transparency, high recyclability, durable construction, and comprehensive environmental performance reporting for green building certification schemes.
