dormakaba KTV A is a premium automatic revolving door system designed to provide controlled pedestrian flow while maintaining superior indoor climate separation, energy efficiency, and architectural aesthetics. Engineered for high-traffic entrances, the KTV A is ideally suited for office buildings, airports, hospitals, hotels, commercial developments, and public facilities. Available in 3- or 4-wing configurations, with glazed or metal-panel drum walls and optional night shield sliding doors, the system delivers excellent thermal separation, noise reduction, draft protection, and reduced heating and cooling energy losses. Manufactured in Sofia, Bulgaria, the revolving door combines precision-engineered aluminium, glass, steel, electronics, and mechanical components to provide reliable long-term performance with a 20-year reference service life and approximately 2 million operating cycles. The Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) is prepared in accordance with ISO 14025 and EN 15804+A2 and follows a cradle-to-gate with options life cycle assessment covering A1–A3, A4, A5, B6, C1–C4, and Module D. Independently verified by the Institut Bauen und Umwelt (IBU), the declaration evaluates environmental impacts from raw material extraction, manufacturing, transportation, installation, operational energy use, end-of-life processing, and recycling potential. The KTV A supports sustainable building design through verified life-cycle transparency, operational energy efficiency, high recyclability, and comprehensive environmental performance reporting for green building assessment schemes.
