Weathercoat Flex (Tex Ultra) is a high-performance elastomeric, water-based exterior coating formulated with 100% acrylic emulsion, weather-fast pigments, and fine quartz chips. The coating provides excellent exterior durability, crack-bridging capability, and anti-carbonation protection, while maintaining breathability to prevent moisture accumulation in masonry substrates.The product is suitable for interior and exterior concrete, brick, plastered, and masonry surfaces and offers superior elastic recovery (elongation up to 260% at 35 °C), dirt pick-up resistance, and resistance to fungal and bacterial growth.VOC content is 11 g/L, well below the regulatory limit of 50 g/L, and the coating is low-odour and environmentally friendly. Application methods include texture roller (recommended), airless spray, and brush for touch-ups. The product is pre-checked for LEED v4 and v4.1 – Option 1 (Material Ingredients) and complies with CDPH Standard Method v1.2 (Section 01350) for VOC emissions.
