"TrueGreen Steel Billets of Square Cross Sections (SMP3) are semi-finished products manufactured by EMSTEEL in an electric arc furnace using clean energy and a mixture of scrap and direct reduced iron pellets. The billets are produced in two geometries (150x150 mm and 130x130 mm) and lengths up to 12 m, feeding EMSTEEL's own reinforcement bar rolling lines and covering grades under BS449, ASTM A615/A706, ISO 6935, and ES internal standards. The Environmental Product Declaration is developed per ISO 14025:2006 and EN 15804:2012+A2:2019, reporting cradle-to-gate (A1–A3) impacts for the declared unit of one metric ton of billets. The GWP-total is approximately 457 kg CO₂e per ton, based on production data from EMSTEEL's Steel Making Plant 3 (SMP3) in Abu Dhabi."
