"Sulphate Resistant Cement (SRC) CEM I SR5 42.5N by EMSTEEL is a general-purpose cement formulated for construction applications exposed to aggressive sulphate conditions. It is produced primarily from clinker with a controlled tricalcium aluminate content, with gypsum added during final grinding to control setting time, and is manufactured at the Al Ain Cement Factory, Al Ain, Abu Dhabi, supplied in bulk form. The Environmental Product Declaration is developed per ISO 14025:2006 and EN 15804:2012+A2:2019, reporting cradle-to-gate (A1–A3) impacts for the declared unit of one metric ton of bulk cement. The GWP-total is approximately 847 kg CO₂e per ton, reflecting the specialised clinker composition required for sulphate resistance."
