Rockwool Slabs are non-combustible mineral wool insulation slabs manufactured from molten basalt rock, spun into fine fibers and bonded using a phenol-formaldehyde resin binder. The slabs provide excellent thermal insulation, acoustic absorption, and fire resistance, and are designed for flat or slightly curved surfaces. They comply with ASTM C612, BS 3958 Part 5, and BS EN 13162 standards and are suitable for internal and external walls, façades, rain screens, over-cladding systems, masonry cavity walls, and metal/wood frame constructions. The product enhances thermal performance, acts as a fire barrier, and reduces noise transmission in residential, commercial, healthcare, educational, and industrial buildings. Formaldehyde content is <0.01 ppm (Class E1), asbestos-free, and manufactured under ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 certified systems. Material contents are disclosed down to 1000 ppm in accordance with HPD Open Standard v2.3.
