Low-Carbon Impact Material
Cement-based firestop mortar designed to seal large openings containing cable trays, metallic and non-metallic pipes, and mixed service penetrations in fire-rated concrete and masonry walls and floors. The grey mortar forms a rigid, durable fire and smoke barrier while providing excellent load-bearing capability and allowing reinstatement of penetrations after maintenance. Suitable for large penetration seals with an approximate mixing ratio of 2.5:1 (mortar to water by weight), it offers very low VOC content (1 g/L) and complies with CDPH Standard Method v1.2 for VOC emissions and SCAQMD Rule 1113 VOC requirements, making it an ideal passive fire protection solution for sustainable and LEED-compliant projects.
