DOWSIL® 813C Construction & Concrete Silicone is a one-part, neutral-curing, low-modulus silicone sealant designed for interior and exterior construction applications, particularly exterior weather seals, expansion joints, and perimetral joints in buildings and concrete structures.The product formulation primarily consists of calcium carbonate (50–60%) as filler, polydimethylsiloxane polymers (40–60%), with methyltrimethoxysilane (0.5–5%) as curing agent and diisopropoxytitanium bis(ethyl acetoacetate) (0.5–0.9%) as catalyst.VOC content is 30 g/L, below the regulatory limit of 50 g/L, and the product achieves M1 emission classification for building materials. It is certified for Zero VOC emissions under CDPH Standard Method v1.1 (Section 01350 / CHPS) and is pre-checked for LEED v4 – Material Ingredients (Option 1). The sealant contains no nanomaterials and is suitable for professional construction use where flexibility, durability, and weather resistance are required.
