Forbo Coral is a textile entrance flooring system intended for internal entrance and circulation areas where moisture absorption, dirt scraping, slip risk reduction and floor protection are required. The declaration covers Coral Brush rolls, mats and tiles. The product uses regenerated Econyl® yarn for moisture absorption and scraping, a primary backing made from polyester and polyamide 6, and an Everfort vinyl backing. Forbo states that Coral Brush can absorb a significant share of foot-borne moisture within the first steps and helps keep downstream floor coverings cleaner and safer. It is suitable for heavy commercial and light industrial use, offers contemporary colour options and complies with high fire-class requirements. The EPD describes Coral entrance flooring as part of Forbo’s long-running textile entrance flooring range, with products made for durability, appearance retention and performance in demanding entrances. The declared/functional unit is 1 m² of installed entrance flooring product. The EPD follows ISO 14025, EN 15804+A2 and EN 16810 and reports GWP A1-A3 of 7.99 kg CO₂e per m².
